Catholic Charities presents Good Samaritan Awards

Winners of the Catholic Charities Good Samaritan awards

Chuck and Pat Ernst and PAM’s Auto have been awarded Good Samaritan Awards presented by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud.

These awards recognize those who help the less fortunate without expecting anything in return and support Catholic Charities’ mission of “serving and enhancing human dignity for people of all faiths and beliefs,” according to Catholic Charities.

Chuck and Pat Ernst are retired St. Cloud State University math professors. Chuck Ernst has volunteered for Catholic Charities Emergency Services for more than 25 years, and Pat Ernst was “instrumental” in starting the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program at Whitney Senior Center, for which she volunteered for many years.
